I love painting silk! Magic happens when I touch my brush into the dye and then onto the silk. the dyes flow and blend into a kaleidoscope of colors.

Many times there is no plan, I just choose a color and it determines the direction – it takes on a life of its own. Painting removes me from my thoughts and becomes an emotional response to color.

I’m inspired by the ever-changing ocean surrounding me and the sunsets that are all one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
