I Use imported French dyes to paint on 100% silk.
Creating these handpainted silk lampshades is very labor intensive. First the silk must be stabilized on a frame. After painting the dye must go through a 3 hour process to set the color. And then fitted to the shade. Each is a unique ‘labor of love.” Each is uniquely different.
They can be tabletop or as a pendant and hung.
